i've only seen these on swifts, never on metros. they are the plastic mud guards that fit at the back of the rear wheel houses. i added them to my blue vert and i'd like a set for my red resto-rod vert.

i prefer clean, non-cracked parts. fasteners are not important as i will replace them with stainless anyway.

They should be common in Canada.
Swift specific; doesn't matter if it is a GA, GL, or GT.

Is this what you're after?

thanks for posting the pic, phil.

that is exactly what i need, left and right sides. most guys pull those out when they mount larger wheels and tires because they rub. i'm only running stock gt, 14" rims and i'd like to keep the rain and road crap from flipping up onto the bottom of my trunk and the inside of the rear bumper.

I made my own out of a mudflap for a semi.
it was cold out and the car was inside.my gas filler tube was taking a beating from the gravel road
so I figured I might as well try something before I got a gas leak.
but finding perfect stock ones would have been nice...but I don't think they would last long if a person drove on gravel roads a lot.
my car has one inch diameter holes on both sides in front of the rear tires (on the inside lip of the fenderwell) from GRAVEL, not rust
the rockers look like they have been sandblasted, hardly any paint left.i added mudflaps last year, they help a lot.
the rear suspension is taking a beating as well as the exhaust system (pipe was almost crushed flat)
fuel filter was damaged as well  and that's only 12 km (8miles) per day.....
but the place I bought is damn worth it 8)

blue, i used truck bed liner under a color matched top coat on my rockers and wheel houses to keep gravel from chipping paint and exposing steel. rhino liner works great for that.

i use the swift rear mud guards, too. it keeps salt laden snow from packing up in the rear bumper and on the bottom of the trunk floor.

the down side of using the guards is that snow accumulates in the wheel house causing "fender bergs" that grow to the point where they interfere with suspension travel. we have had a near record snowfall this year along with some really cold weather that has turned that packed snow into ice. when i hit bumps the accumulated snow acts like a snubber against the tires.

I forgot to mention that I have sprayed the entire underside of the car twice with rubberized undercoating.....helps a bit ....next time my car is on the hoist I might tackle the rockers with paintable undercoating.i made room in the shop at work,so I get to park inside all winter....no ice build-up here 8) 8)

I would start your own thread in the Wanted section. Occasionally go down to RedlineGTi.com in AUS and ask as well.
