Will need tires soon so now would be a perfect time to go up to some 15" wheels from my current 14s...

Meanwhile I got me an uncut OMP strut brace :mrgreen: ......On she goes :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

It will get powdercoat in the future along with the valve cover just need to weld some brackets onto it for the fpr and probably an engine damper kit :idea:

nice job man i have been doing the same; gathering my parts got some 13x8 wheels from the virgin island's. i want that race car look

I was thinking of that race car look too but aborted it to keep the stockish appearance....Kind of like the Mine's R34 Skyline....Stock appearance but farrrr from stock performance :mrgreen:

Made a cover for the spare tire area as well as two pieces for the back of the rear seats

New carpet, re-upholster the rear seats and some bucket seats hopefully w/ 4-point takata seat harnesses to come in the future.... :buzz:

Got me some rotational devices today....Should assist the car in pivoting at a greater angle :mrgreen:

Decided on these wheels...Guy I bought them from listed them as Speedline wheels but after an email to speedline themselves they said that they aren't a wheel of theirs so I'm lost on brand etc....All I know is they are 15x6 ET40 & they are light as " :!: " :o

Ordered a set of Wilwood brake caliper adapter brackets from Garndi over on redlinegti...Should be here soon

Also got an Aeromotive FPR to go along with the Forsa GTi fuel rail :buzz:

Are those wilwoods meant to work with the stock rotors? If not what rotors are you using, i.e. from what vehicle app?

Found out the brand of the wheels are Raceline RL7s 8) It bugs me that I don't know the specifics of a product that I'll be using, so now that bug is dead for the wheels :-P ....... On with the project :mrgreen:

Bought myself a G16 swift sedan cable shift gearbox along with all other needed parts for the conversion for my birthday :mrgreen: .......needs some serious scrubbing :oops:

I didn't weigh it to get an exact figure but after lifting the flywheel I believe I'll be ordering an aluminum unit to replace it with :|

In the APV the engine's CR is around 9.5:1....not sure what CR I'll end up with the final built head! :buzz: but I'm guessing in the high 8s

:lol: Well at $420USD compared to SuzukiRD $725 & Pauter's $8-900USD I say its a bargain :lol:

I was going to build a 1600 motor until I found out the price of a set of 1600 con rods :|
