No and given the lack of details all the eBay ads have, I have never been tempted to buy one. There are enough links on Teamswift and Redline to obtain chips with known (and plenty of positive feedback) specifications that you can buy without heading in to the unknown. I use a Group A chip in my no longer standard NA GTi. The chip does far more than raise the rev limiter (or remove the rev limit). The ebay chips never say if they are for a MK2 or MK3 ECU - usually claim they work in either. In the past sellers would tell buyers to remove the Check Engine Light (if it was on permanently) as it didn't tell you anything and wasn't needed anyway. Common event when you put a MK3 chip into a MK2 ECU. (MK2 being 1989 to 1991 and MK3 1992 and later)

I use a standard MK2 ECU with the Group A chip BUT I also have an Apexi SAFC to smooth out some of the flat spots (because there is no way a chip can be expected to work perfectly with a very modified engine) and my Check Engine Light work correctly. Buy from a trusted source who can give you the right chip for your ECU and can tell you what it does and point you to some dyno charts to show the results.

The following quote from one ebay vendor is such rubbish, nobody in their right mind could believe it - 20 to 40 HP gain!!!!!!! That would mean I can get 140HP from anotherwise standard engine. What could Suzuki have been thinking to release such a poorly tuned engine and for only $41 plus postage it can be fixed????? :thwack:

89 - 95 Suzuki Swift GT GTi G13b Performance Chip MK2 MK3

Performance Engine Chips unleash more power by re-programming the fuel mixture and ignition timing parameters of the engine management system. Furthermore the software safely raises the rev-limit, giving your car a broader power band and greater road speed potential in each gear. Significant gains are also achieved at part throttle, making extra power available where you spend the bulk of the time driving.

Performance Features:
Horsepower: +20-40 HP
Torque: +5-15 Lbs/Ft
Raised rev limiter : +8600 RPM

Contact swifty92 for the sandros chip. The best NA performance chip IMO.
I'm even tempted now to even run it on my turbo setup with water / meth combo.
