Hi

I am fitting a new head gasket to my car but wondered if there is a difference between the MK1 and MK2 Gasket ?
My car is a 1989 but is fitted with a 1988 engine from a MK1 GTI.

Any information would be great.

Also any recommendations for a replacement performance gasket in the UK.

Car is used for rally
normally aspirated and running on twin 40 carbs

Thanks Jon
