I have one of my dohc race heads that has some lifter bore scoring. I know that engine machine shops can bore and sleeve a v-8 block but they don't seem to be willing to do the same on my aluminum head. Any suggestions? I have way to much money wrapped up in this 3tech modified head to just throw it out. Thanks for any advice.

Check with speed shops that deal with aircooled VWs and Porsches. They would have some familiarity with sleeving lifter bores in aluminum heads.
