so, I think I hurt it.

wound it up pretty high, awesome launch, but then the problem showed up

will not idle, very hard to start, will not rev freely until you feather it over 3000 rpm, then it revs freely, but has no power to move on its own.

so far I have checked the dizzy, plugs (they were loose :huh: ) no damage or deposits just sooty, timing marks line up, has compression (135, 145, 150,150)

no unusual noises

slipped crank cog, or broken cam? :huh: :huh:

Yeah I would definetely check the timing marks to make sure..

Also, just to be sure, check your fuel pressure, It sounds like it is starving for fuel.

my moneys on slipped cank cog .. timing marks will be spot on because your belt did not slip Just be thankfull you didn't granade you Transaxle They wont take that kinda abuse for to long....jv&s
