I have been looking at G13B DOHC connecting rods. I see a lot of them in the $300 range that are made in Hong Kong. Has anyone used these forged brands and are they good. They look well made and are sold on EBAY and Amazon. The link is one example.
I am going to be using them in a G10 engine modified for a small supercharger.

Thanks for any help

I have those rods. Didn't install them yet. But they're indeed overkill.

I'm boosting 18psi on stock GTi rods and stock compression ratio and they're still holding. As long as it doesn't detonate, it'll be fine. I'm using water meth though.

I'm even thinking on boosting on some high compression pistons and stock rods.

I would be happy to use stock B13B rods if I could find them easily in the USA. If I do find a set I will most likely be close to the aftermarket price when shipping is included. The aftermarket rods are easy to get. I only need (3) and I really question if the G10 rods can deal with every condition. I am using an EMS-4 and tuning from scratch.

instant_shine who makes your aluminum flywheel and how much does it weigh? B13B OEM flywheels are also hard to find.
