So after bending my sump pan on my GTi, I took one off a GS to replace it. However, I was unaware that there was a difference. There is a big hole on one end, which I plan to brass weld off, but the is also an impression which would therefore lessen the oil capacity of the engine. Has anyone ever done this before? The car will be used to track.
