I have a black 1992 GTi for sale. Don't have time to get it running due to a stroke. Currently it has a long block installed in it. I do have a extra engine that I bought with supposedly 45-48k miles on it. It does not have the bottom to the back seat. The person I got it from was going to make it a rally car. Good tires and rims. I do have several spare parts for it. A disassembled trans, extra hood, and spare engine parts. I had a person who was going to buy it so I have been holding it for him for about 6 months. Now I can't in touch with him and his number is disconnected so I am relisting it. Thought I would offer it here before I put it on Craigslist. It has been garaged for the last 2 years. Took it out to shoot these pictures. Asking 850.00 or offer. My email address is dpuhl@yahoo.com

If you have any other questions, please ask.

Update: My pictures are too large to upload. Will try tomorrow (02-12-2010) to retake the pics. I can email you pictures if you want.

Click on pics for larger view.

If it wasn't 15 hours away I'd get it myself.

To All who shall read this: This car has a SOLD on it (Feb 12, 2010). I have emailed the owner and it's awaiting pickup. Unless Dave says otherwise, this is gone. DONOR: for the 'Vert.

Thanks,

Paul

Good Deal! I'm glad it went to a Teamswift member! :D

I was wondering how a good car like this could be for sale for three weeks at $850.00?? It was a sale pending type transaction. Nice buy Paul!

Drumroll please.................2 'Vert's (both '93's) and a 1989 GTi and now a 1992 GT - 4 Total. Might find that the 'Vert that I bought from Leonwho will be easier to work on and not need so much from the '92. Hmmmmm.......maybe the '92 GT might find itself on the road. ONLY IF THE WIFE DOESN"T KILL ME FIRST.

PS: Will be home around the second week of April. I will be leaving for San Francisco early in the month of June, come home then go to Kentucky for the Army, come home to finish my leave then head to San Antonio for a vacation. Then, it's back to work to finish out 2010.

PSS: Redeploy to Afghanistan in 2011.
