Ebay item 270551149450

Located in Pottstown, PA, USA

Starting bid, $1000, no reserve.

[edit - 4/3/10] Congratulations to Kyle of western PA. Kyle is a current SCCA racer (IT Pintos) and frequently restores rusted geo metros. He was very exited when he picked up the car and I think he will enjoy it. He is not a teamswift guy, but I'll point him in this direction.

I went to Diablo Freeride Park at the end of the season last year... I don't know if I should get into freeriding or not. So much fun but so much potential for painful injuries.

Maybe just stick to my 5" trailbike. :D

You have no idear how bad I want this car... but no funds and a wife that would smash my skull in my sleep with a frying pan keep me from it.

Good luck with the sale. Hopefully I'll get achance to race against it in ITB one of these years.

Less than 24 hours left. Bid now, and bid often (or not, I won't be offended).

End of an era....

No clue but still a pity. I wouldn't even setup such an add on E-bay if you were to pay me $3000. Last time I saw an add like that is when they auctionned the texas mile record holder Autobahn Supra.

Puting up a few 1000bhp dyno charts would have helped for the sale Roy, I'm sure. :P

As the French [Canadians] say,

C'est la vie!

I was actually expecting the sale in the $3k range, so no disappointment with the cash. I'll miss the car, but it really breaks my heart to see it sit and collect dust. I would rather it be flogged on the track (or wherever). The guy who bought it seems to be familiar with Swifts/Metros. But I'd rather not reveal any more info as really it's up to him to share the details of his plans. He is hoping to pick it up this weekend.

Good times with the car and with you guys. Best little niche car ever.
