I hate to see it go but I haven't driven it in six months and I live 2,000 miles from it now.

195,000 kms
Interior in excellent condition
comes with new Dunlop Direzza tires and Michelin X Ice as well (not cheap)
I've put nearly 50,000kms on this car and I've driven it as far as Seattle from Calgary.
Four brand new NOS fuel injectors that cost me $200 EACH

Issues:
Drivers door is stubborn and you have to wiggle the handle just right to open
Same deal for the hood latch. Works, but you have to know how to pull it just right
Currently misfiring on one cylinder due to a stuck valve

Price is $1,000 as is. Let me know if you want any additional info.

That problem is probably the injector itself. Not an uncommon problem with those injectors. If it was the ECU, none of them would work right. They're all on the same harness.

Thanks for the info and my first thought was an injector. But I replaced all four with pricey new ones and it still wasn't injecting in the same cylinder.

Sorry for my horrible reply times. I just moved and was without a computer for some time. I've relisted it with additional info and a massive price drop. Let's get this car to a good home.

If I was next in line for it, I will let Shane have at it first, as my posting is not 100% certain.

Might be willing to give this car a good home.
Would need to look up her skirt to check her for cancer. =)
as for mechanical we can always rebuild her heart.
might be a quicker repair than a motor in the metro

Hello! Car is SECalgary and I'm asking $1,000 for it as the car has obvious issues. Fridays and Weekends are the best times to look at the car. ANy other questions you have, let me know.

:D made it back to my house, no problems encountered on the drive/ tow home.
tried renting a U-Haul trailer, but they wanted the trailer returned the next day, my destination point was not a drop-off point ( for trailers or tow dollys)
went to princess auto, bought a tow bar, magnetic lights, 8'' drop hitch, and safety cable....
installed it all and towed her home :D
ran the chance of getting pulled over
but the 5 police cruisers that saw me could seem to care less. 8)
awaiting further diagnosis. need to make some room in my shop.
it will look funny, a metro having open heart surgery, and a gti as well. =)

used the factory front tow hook slots, u brackets bolted to the tow bar a-frame, hitch pins thru the u-brackets and the tow hook slots. not recommended for serious long haul towing, but in a pinch it gets you moving. I went 4 hours at speeds of 110 or more, no bolts or pins came loose. I may weld up some of the tow bar a-frame, make it more of a permanent set-up,just for pulling suzukis.
