Decided to my sell my most recent acquisition. It's a '92 Metro 'vert that seems to be factory original, unrestored.
Runs fine in my book, but where I live they require SMOG compliance. It's NOX is WAY too high, so the State won't even let me put the title in my name. The blue title is still in a previous owners name and nothing else has been written on it. I don't know if it just needs a Cat., be driven enough to blow the cobwebs out, or freshen up the engine. I've driven it some, runs and goes down the road straight. Factory 1.0 G10 with 4.40 gears, looks to be original from all the dust and dirt on it. No serious rust, but does have dings, dents, hail damage . . . . like most +23 year old cars. If I was not in a pollution controlled area, I'd be driving it and keep it.
It's been sitting for a few years, no telling how old some of the gas in it is. I've tried to burn as much out and put in fresh.
faniya looked at it, and in about four minutes found around 600 things wrong with it, so it is NOT showroom clean. But it's not total rust bucket junk, either.
Would make a fine beater, or hooptie. Have a new drivers fender still in the box. As is, where is, cash only.
Have a little over $1,300 in it, don't want to loose any of it. It's worth it for someone mechanically inclined that's healthy enough to work on it.
I'm about 30 minutes west of Ft. Worth in Millsap, 76066

He makes it sound worst then it is. I have seen this rust free car. Yeh it needs some work but for the price..... you get to start with a good rust free body.
