16 Valve DOHC 5 speed 3 door hatchback. Engine very strong. After Market Clutch & Timing chain 1.5 yrs old Think it has around 150K miles? Broke at my dad's house. Must get it out soon. Clutch cable snapped maybe? Has a couple issues, no power to headlamps. Hood broke (Has Hood locks now okay) New window tint under warranty, A/C Interior fair Excellent braking and handling. Been in the family 15 years or so. I'm going to junk it if I can't sell it. Insanely fast little car but you guys already know that. Located in Clearwater Florida. First $400 with a tow. If anybody's interested.

How soon do you need this gone? I'm very interested. I live about 3 and a half hours from you (north Florida) and would be willing to make the drive.

The car is in Clearwater, in the Drew st. Highland ave area if you want to google it. I've been driving it for 8 years, best car I've ever owned, corvettes, Trans/Ams ect. Incredibly reliable, never expected this and I'm sure it's probably something stupid. Just have to get it out of there I live in Holiday Fl too far for me to tow and have no time or money to fix it. Got a temp tag and it will expire soon and I pay Insurance for 2 cars I might be able to leave it there a couple more days. It was running fine when I parked it there. It sat about a month, started great. Pushed in the clutch (new) and put it in reverse and tranny engaged while I had the clutch down. I have No idea what could have happened.

I might be able to swing Wednesday, but Thursday would be better for me. If either of those days would work for you, PM me and let's set it up! :D

I can push it to Thursday. I feel better knowing someone who knows what that car is and a couple extra bucks would be nice too. Cool deal.

Thanks for all your help guys. The car was sold. Wish I had know about this site long ago. Big fan of that car, hate to lose it but life's hard sometimes. So glad it got into the hands of someone who is a fan and knows how great the Swift is. I wish you all the best of luck!

Chuck

Every time someone sell's a car on a forum, I read the same ole thing, " If i don't sell, Car is getting Crushed" :ez_zzz: I wonder if that tactic works on the Ferrari Forum? ( 82' 305 Ferrari taken space in my garage, nice car but got to go. Selling for $$. If i don't sell by the end of the week I am sending it to the crusher!!)

The 5 speed is my daughters, although i have first dibs on buying it though ;)
I have been really thinking about turning my metro into a sleeper. I am going to get ahold of 3tech one of these years and get the ball rolling. I have an extra 3 banger that runs i was gonna send off.
I have this knack for dumping a shitload of $$ into hoopties that ill never get back out of them.
Yesterday i pulled a trailer full of dirt down the freeway with my sidekick. i'm sure the trailer weighed as much as the car or close. The 2.0L can get it moving, it's the stopping that is scary :D
