Hello,
My name is Britton I have a 96 geo Metro 1.0 litre. I need to rebuild the motor and i want to send my head to 3tech, but i am unsure of what package to get. My dad had the performence cam installed in his and he loves it but his idle on his car is screwy and i dont want mine to be like that. So i am just creating this post for some people to give me some feed back on what you think is the best package for me to get. I would like some more power in my little geo lol. But i will tell you the type of drving i do, i usr this car for commuting to work everyday i drive 75 miles one way. So if you guys can give me some more info about the econo and performance packages thaat would be great thanks.

Power should remain about the same, maybe a bit more, but torque will go up.

Ok doesnt sound to bad, is that a good thing for the torque to go up. Do you recommend getting the econo package

I don't mind the idle. Give it a little love in the basic tuning department (timing, idle etc) and as long as your IAC is working, its fairly stable at least with the stage 2 cam (350/218) and a +8 sprocket. a little lope-e-ness never hurt anything. if you are stopped idling long enough to annoy you, shut the engine off.

I'll be posting a youtube clip here shortly of the idle and rev sound just because it comes up a lot.

stick with the stock clutch or the stock 1.3L clutch/flywheel. I went with the 1.3 but got a stage 4 puck clutch and it does not like to be granny feathered at all (like you would do in bumper to bumper driving)

more tq is always a good thing.
