Hi,
I have 1994 3cyl automatic that after driving at a constant speed of about 45+ mph with the AC on and then lifting the accelerator and coasting.
While the car is decelerating through 43-40mph the rpm will fluctuate at between ~2000-2300 rpm range. Once it drops below ~40mpg it acts normally.
This only occurs if the AC is on.
The car runs normally at idle and other speeds AC on or off.
This really is not a big issue but it is irritating to say the least.
I'm hunting for suggestions on what to try to further diagnose the problem?
Thank you!
