I need to replace my plastic one simply because the hose barb for the reserve tank has gotten broken. It leaked before and I patched it; but I think the mechanics at the transmission shop leaned on it and broke it loose again. It didn't wobble before; now it does and it's leaking again.

So like the title asks; does anyone have one of these all aluminum radiators?

If so, are they any good? They are priced very low compared to the plastic ones. You would think they'd be MORE expensive being all metal, but are they no good? Is that why they are cheaper?

It shows it as being for A/T and M/T and the photo doesn't show any trans cooler lines for my A/T, so I'd have to add an extra cooler for the transmission, in that case, which is probably not a bad idea anyhow.

i have built cars with similar radiators but not these exactly.

the ones i have used work great and i run a twincam with one and a heavily modified turbo3 in a "full house" thermal management system including air to water intercooling.

95 degree, 80% humidity days with city driving is no problem.

i would suggest using a 12" 1800 cfm direct mount fan, though. those will move 2 1/2 times the air the stock fan does.

Oh, and I'd also have to get a M/T car's lower bracket for the radiator to rest in. I guess it's not worth the hassle. This radiator is such a piece of crap. Regular radiator caps don't fit right, only "safety" ones for some reason. I need to see if the labels on it say what brand it is so I can avoid another one like it at all cost.

I'd contact them because if you look at the description it says...

Aluminum core, Plastic tanks.

That doesn't match the title description.

I did email them months ago and they said plastic was incorrect.

I ended up buying another plastic tank one since I have A/T and I'd have to add an external A/T cooler otherwise... and change the lower bracket for the radiator.
