Was thinking of porting it and cutting the plenum floor to open it up. Is it worth it.

I'm not sure how restrictive the factory intake is but you can hook up a pipe to the edge of the intake plenum with a cone filter on the end eliminating the factory filter. I'm not sure if its possible to fit a larger throttle body on the car but if it is then you can try that as well.

I cut out the bulk of the housing, just enough plastic left to keep the filter clamped in. Seems to increase flow with both the stock filter and the K&N I have.

Edit: it should also be noted I guess that I have a bigger throttle body (45mm) as well, that changed the sound of the car for the better and really made a noticeable difference in power surprisingly.
