Soo ive build a racecar for #Club1000 which is a club for 1000cc or less trackday cars at the Nürburgring and other tracks around europe.

Had my first trackday with a totally stock engine.. and I know i would be slow, but i'm now thinking about how to extract power.
It will be street legal but streetability isnt nescescary.

Any tip is welcome from sorta standard to extreme!

You want to get as much weight out of the car as possible, then go lighter and smaller on the tires and rims. Take the flex tube off the intake/breather and run premium fuel and set the timing as far advanced as it will go. If there's a cat it's not helping, and if you can get a 4.39 trans grab it

It has a gti gearbox and gti (light) wheels, and no cat. I run 98 RON on track, but havent changed anything engine wise.. but cant keep up. Cant really decide on what to do next.

Let it breathe. Enlarge the intake and exhaust. You may need to increase the injector size. Put a 3tech cam in it. Those are fairly easy mods that will make a difference You could also swap in a GT engine but I don't know if that's a direction you want to pursue.
