What is the max amount of NOS that I can run on my Swift GTi with no mods to the fuel system? It has 98000km on it and the head has been worked for better flow. Also have a 2.25 exhaust and filter. I would like to run a 50 shot but I'm afraid of blowing the engine. Will be getting an air/fuel gauge with it too.

are you going wet system or dry system?

With a wet system, 50hp will be no problem for the fuel pump, or the stock ignition. As for experiences with the dry set up, there are a few other guys on here that are better to ask on that.

Wasted 2 bottles of NOS on the 40-50hp jets lately and no problems with the motor.

transmission, axle/wheel hop, clutch, are usually always the biggest concern when running NOS.

Kyle Jones 1989 Suzuki Swift GTi
Your friendly TeamSwift Op.

You'll be fine with a 50 shot. But, if something is wrong with the engine to begin with. Nos will speed the process of a cooked engine.

Good luck...
