I own the 1.3 SOHC swift and have always wondered if a turbo from the turbo metro/swift ect. would work for my engine?? Or if it would work on my buddies, do I dare speak it, 89 Civic Si hatch.

The turbo is probably way too small.
It can reach full boost on a 3 cyl by 3500 rpm's

It will work for a low boost application but you probably would be better with another. I was going to do this mod on my 89 GTi and run it to 10lbs but a lot of other projects have taken precedence over it. Let us know how it works out if you go through with it

I want to do the same thing in my 95 firefly and a shop performance shop told me it can be done but I must call in this week to know how much they'll charge me. I also want to put in the turbo's tranny, a 4.11 gear ration instead of the 3.78 on the SOHC 4 cyl. But another guy told me it's too complicated because you need to change your computer too and the 3 cylender one wouldn't fit for the 4 cylender. I'll give you an update as soon as I get some news

I just had an accident with my car so I'll have to repaint the whole left side and change the front fender. I found a brand new fender for 44,90 CND$ and in the scrapyards it costs 50 to 75$. I'll just have to see how much money is left when I'm done repainting the whole side of the car
Never underestimate the power of a suzuki. you could be surprised...
