I like the adjustable headrest. Right now I'm using the turbo sprint seats. I just like to have my head always supported, I don't like to drive with my head forwards.

Wiperless..stock harness yanked...ill wire it myself with just the basics..and do wire tuck in bay..

Tip for running wires thru tube...tie a strand of yarn to wires(tape it too) insert yarn into tube..and chase it with compressed air..pull wires on through!...

alright..any of you gurus know which timing belt/ pump /gear combo to use? both 1.3 8v belts(round tooth) are too short with the 8v crank gear(round tooth)...1.6 16v belt is way too long..im wondering if tensioner placement on the 1.3 16v water pump is different... ive searched like hell..outside of some serious parts scrounging, im assuming the 1.3 16v belt is the one to use with a different tensioner or pump? stumped...thanks for any replies..

i did the mix and match timing component thing on my first turbo3 project and it was a ball buster getting just the right combo.

i haven't done a g13/ g16 head combo so i can't help.

i am paying attention, though. i'm a big fan of your projects. =)

I think the 1.3 16v has a different water pump/ tensioner position...gotta be the issue..ill run some part numbers tommorrow..ive used both 16v/8v belts and the tensioner would make the difference..crank pulleys are the same and cam pulleys are same diam and tooth count..

Problem resolved..hit the jy..eyed a 16v metro real good and robbed the belt..found out the parts store monkeys gave me the wrong belt twice...only took four different belts lol..

The key to blow thru cv carbs...
The pilot tube...
float bowl vent tubes are plumbed into this pilot tube...the boost signal is more responsive this way and greatly helps the carbs transition into boost..it is well documented among turbo bike builders that this mod cuts main jet increase requirements nearly in half..it is proven stuff...

I tapped the plenum for a copper npt braze bung..and arranged two elbows to point into the air charge and sweated them into place...1/2" diam tubes...
