Anyone ever done it before? I'm putting a G13B in my Samurai and I'm going to turbo it at the same time. My goals for this setup are going to be quick boost, keeping it under 12 lbs max probably. Just wondering what the boost threshold would be for a tiny turbo on a GT engine.

No, it's already small for the G10 engine, sell it and buy a proper sized turbo. I'm sure someone else will recommend a more suitable one for you.

If you have two of them, it'd probably work for a twin turbo setup...

1+3 feed turbo 1
2+4 feed turbo 2

Would require lots of work though.

I don't have a turbo yet, just trying to decide on which one to look for. My GT doesn't hit peak boost until about 4k RPM (IHI RHB5), and I would like the Samurai on peak boost at half that RPM, even if it runs out of steam a bit on top as it will have an off road emphasis.

Read this and attempt the semi-rocket science math to find your ideal turbo, it will help a great deal:

I have tried a stock MK2 turbo on a G13 before. It worked up to 5 PSI and 5000 RPM, after that all hell broke loose...

I bet it'd full boost by 2,000RPM and vent excess to prevent surge.... The wastegate might not be able (flow enough) to keep it under surge.....

Thats why I was thinking- I had a T3 on my GT for a while, and that thing was LAGGY. Wouldn't imagine a T28 would be much better than that.....
