OK...I dont know if I understand correctly but i dont check the load, im using weber carburators and just ignition control should be electrical controlled...
So maybe the checking of load is so inportant i can use pressure sensor and thats can make corection on my ignition map....but i think it is a future...first im just need start my engine:)

Hello!
Im from slovakia and i has very bad english bud i hope you can help me.
I build a G13B engine for my 4x4 suzuki swift and i dont use the original ignition.
I have a programmable unit but I do not know what values i must to enter.
I search o lot but I cant found the original ignition table.
Can you help me with this?
I know that the original values are not good for me but I use them only as a basis, for starting the engine.
Thanks

I am with Gabo, anyone using after market engine management on a non turbo'd engine? I am beginning to think that there should be a place on this board where all of this useful information is stored....
Because what I read above is gold. (yeah I know, each setup is different, each setup should get a professional dyno tune blaa blaa... but it is still gold,. Especially when our esteemed members list the salient engine characteristics with the maps...

Next time guys, add the cam profiles :-)

I was thinking about this issue and Ive found that no matter the throttle position because this engine will not used for routine driving...It will be used only for racing...it means...still full load

Now let's go to the beginning...I just need original ignition map ... something like this....
...if it is a problem, i sarting from zero...

Here is the eom 16x16 ignition table. The nominal rpm numbers where plugged in for demostration purposes only and may not represent the actual rpm range eg - 500rpm may actually be 1000rpm.

What type of ignition system are you using? Electromotive?
