I had a tdo4h-13c and a tdo5-12b running compound boost at 24 lbs...Had way to many problems taking off in 1st gear, But trap speeds were a high of 111.650 1/4 mile time is no importance....Have bought 2 new turbos for 40. bucks...td04 hl 15g....does anyone know the max boost on these turbo's

I did the work....What you are actually looking at is the aftermath of sliding sideways across the 1/4 mile at 106.70 and nailing the wall at around 90 or so mph...That is why I am putting on new turbo's...The wall broke the td04 in half

We rune some td04 hl 15g on 14 to 15PSI max. To bad Molinari dos not make small clutches otherwise you could take of in second gear

It all depends on the engine and efficiancy. On the 3000gt a pair of hl 15gs will support about 24 psi to 7k (1.5 liter per turbo)

Keep in mind psi is resistance to flow. With some head work the 15gs will only make about 20 psi but will make similar power.

So About 3 yrs ago I had the Head ported...I put Block hardner in coolant passages...Studded it...Bored 40 over...Vitara pistons...New mains and rod bearings...Dual diaphram Pressure plate...Dual 4 puck disk...Had way too much Boost on the lower end....Smoked the wheels all the way thru 1st gear barked in 2nd and 3rd and still ran 111 mph 1/4 mile...my times Sucked...Am hoping for Boost to kick in around 2500 rpm or so...I here these turbos Boost to 8000 rpm ... Man this would be Nice...we shall see...If numbers are right I will Supposedly be boosting around 31 to 33 lbs ,,, I used to have 24lbs....The funny part of this is...the motor Is still awesome...WHAT a working machine for what I have put it Thru........DRAG race only!!!....Amazing...and Cheap
