I have built a turbo propane 1.3 samurai motor and used a t3/t4 57 a/r turbo then a t/3 42 a/r
turbo but it didn't boost with t/3 t/4, And only could get 4# of boost with t/3 what turbo should I have bought im wanting to build full boost as early as possible,any help would be awesome :|

T3 is too big. Go with a t2 series. Or mhi turbo like 14b is good responsive. Or td03. KKK k03. Both small instant boost turbos.

i think that the propane as a fuel is a lot of the problem. lp gas has a fairly low energy density so the exhaust gas is less energetic.

you'd probably do a lot better with a very small turbo that would spin up sooner. :wink:

It is 100 to 110 octane and very cold so not prone to knocking,it is perfect for turbocharging,but I think that I need a smaller turbo just not sure witch one,I can't keep buying turbos that don't spool soon enough, I need torque not so much top end, I only want like 100hp, so if anyone knows what turbo fits my app please share your experience, thanks.
