So here's the skinny. Moved from my swift to a 93 sidekick with g16b and TONS of emissions bs. I've checked and tried other forums geared for sidekicks but all the turbo setups are on tbi 8valves. I was thinking about seeing if the maf from j 18 or 20 would work and use a safc . I'm just worried about maxing it out quick. 5 psi is my goal. I'm gonna bug mike about a cam too.

Shoot I wish I was better at structuring post better. Before a turbo is even in construction I need to get it running tip top.

Right now it has a code 24 vehicle speed sensor. Idk how to fix this. Also for the first five or so minutes after its started warm or cold (symptoms worse when cold) it hesitates really bad at any part throttle position. Wot runs great no problems. Not sure where to start.

If it's only 5V maf, you can use anything which gives max 5V output. If it has temp sensor (separate wire to ecu), then you have bigger problem. I've replaced nissan MAFs with VW TDI ones and worked like a charm with piggyback ecu. Sometimes you can just increase pipe size if sensor is removable.
