Nothing is going to happen the next two weeks. I just bought another swift that i will put my 285 hp engine into. There is a dragrace event aug 6:th that I will go to :)

I'll post the result..

I've always admired the Swedes when it comes to motoring, they seem to like it plain and simple with lots of boost.

i was suprised when i saw those movies damn those guys have fast cars :) here in the Netherlands there are only a few 1/4 mile races per year so the competition isn't that quick yet

What oil pump are you running? Do the squirters have check valves in them?

I was gonna ask you about the multi-plate clutch, but then I remembered that you're not using a Suzuki transmission. :wink:

The valve springs are taken from a race version Volvo engine. I should have no problem to rev 12000 rpm.

I'll probable use the standard oilpump, but a dry-sump could be interesting (if I can find some worth the money). The squirters comes from some SAAB model and yes, they have check valves.
