hiiii!

is there anyone spesialist who knows tell me, is anyone else suzukis block
8 limp forger crankshaft, than swift 1300 gti???

my thing is....1500-1600cc block with 1300gti head... for rally use
but one broblem is weak crack in a g16 block

i need more stroke about 77.5mm but it must be forged crank with 8 limp

if bore would be 77.5 and stroke 77.5 =1461cc

or..better would, if bore could be about 80.0 and stroke 77.5

any idea.........

Can you explain what "8 limp" means please? Maybe we can help if we understand completely what you need.

I thought all of the g series cranks were counterweighted, but as far as I know, the GTI is the only forged one, at least in 4-cyl form.

Boring to 80mm would be neat because I don't think you'll have any cylinder wall left. You might be able to press in some new sleeves, but I don't even know if the block is that large.

To get a forged crank w/ 77.5mm stroke will either be offset ground GTI or completely custom. I heard rumors that you might be able to fit a Honda crank, but that seems unlikely to me.

1.3l gl cranshaft is "4 limp" not counterweight
stroke 77mm

1.
best choise would be if block could be g13b with counterweight crank stroke 77mm

2.
large sleeves as high comp piston like 80 or (82maybe too large)

3.
high rpm custom race engine

I guess I don't really understand what you mean by 4 or 8 limp.
The cranks are what I call counterweighted...

As another thought, you may check the G15 motors. I don't know if the cranks are forged or not, but I think their strokes are in the 80mm range.

How do you count?
What I would call counterbalances are absent from this crank:

My GTI has counterbalances opposite and to either side of each crank throw pin... I think...

is the "8-weight, fully-balanced crankshaft" right term use......do you understand now....same like original gti crank is, (8-eight)

ok, but does anybody measured how big sleeves go on g13b block

Perhaps this gives you a good idea of bore size?
http://www.teamswift.net/viewtopic.php?t=28809&highlight=77mm

If I recall what the standard, non-GTi crank looks like, it's almost the same as the GTi. There are countweights for every lobe. i'd take a picture of my crankshaft as it's sitting in the other room, but I have no camera...

There are some GTI crank photos in there.
I hope that helps.

How about this?
http://teamswift.net/viewtopic.php?p=229780#229780
A bit more than 77mm, it seems, but you could stick to a 75mm bore or something...

and here's some more D series info
