I'm in the process of fitting a G16A into my GTi....was wondering can the honda pistons fit? (D16 since they're of the same bore size and its been done on a G13B) and more importantly....can the engine withstand the compression ratio? I'll be fitting it with a block guard as well...and its 7000RPM safe?? can the G13B flywheel/crank pulley be used???

no one?? :| :| :| my engine's finally arrived and i'm stuck on how to align the driveshafts and i'm quite concerned about the compression ratio with the G13B head...i'm tragetting @ about 11:1 but with a 0.88 thick suzukisports carbon gasket I'm not so sure about hitting the desired amount...as the stock GTI gasket fitted with the head gives it 8.5:1? or is it 10:1?? and can the valves from the G16 SOHC block be fitted onto the G13B head? i know that they're 1mm bigger so i'll have to cut the valve seats but what about the valve guides and the length of the valves?? can anyone help??
