Guys! I have a question - Is Exhaust manifold of Esteem 1.6 MPI is interchangable with 1.3 MPI and if yes what effect it will have on the performance of a stock 1.3 MPI with ported polished thottle body and free flow air filter and free flow exhaust??

Anyone done it yet ?

If both are SOHC 16V, then it will bolt up.

Where is my face to palm smiley...

The 1.6L exhaust is bigger it's also 4-2-1 in design so it will give better low end power than the stock manifold, along with just plain being better in every other way, so you will get more power throughout the entire power band.

the esteem? 4-2-1? the MK3 swift's 1.6 manifold is the one you're looking for. the esteem has a catalytic converter mounted right in the manifold.

EDIT I see you're in India....hmmm I don't think whatever we say will be much helpful, except that the bolt pattern is the same across all SOHC 16v heads :-P
