Hi guys,

I'm trying to find forged 76mm with high compression to use on our G13B do you have any suggestion in where to find (any motorcycle?)?

I'm really interested in finding some +1mm oversized stainless steel valves, does it anyone knows where to find?

Regards,
Miguel

Hi,

I don't remember which post and who it was but G15 engine in Swift brings to my mind.
He had info of Honda Valves for G13B engine which are 1mm bigger.

I noted for future myself so here goes.
Inlet Honda D16 part number 14711-P08-00
Exhaust Hnda D13 part number 14721-PM3-000

I'm not sure if they are stainless or not.
Also Honda P29 or PM7 are high comp pistons
They are from D16 and ZC engines and they are 75mm std so they might do 1mm over bore.

Cheers
Atchi

Thx Atchi great info, but can be 2008-2010 Honda CBR1000RR Pistons or 2005-2010 Kawazaki ZX-10R (both 76mm) suitable for our G13B?

Miguel

If you are building a G13 bottom the best choice are Honda P29 or PM7 wich are exactly the same, they will bring your CR to 12.5 aprox and you con find them in 1mm oversize so there you have the 76mm.
I´m the giy with the oversize valves, they are not SS, are plain valves but work great, they are around 10mm taller so you can cut them without any issues.
Also consider if you are using that kind of CR to use toluene mixed with your fuel at a 15% ratio.

G15B,

Thank you very much for your info.
I lost your post so I couldn't thank you for the info from your post.

I wanted to know that if you machine top of the pistons to bring it down to 11:1.
I think we can run with out addtives and just rub high octan fuel.

I have a spare engine so if I'm going ahead with H/C NA. I will be building it with Honda pistons.

Does anyone knows how to make the biggest displacement on a G13B even sleeving?

76/78/80mm? Londer Rods 80/82mm?

Where to find the 76mm / 78mm / 80mm pistons ? Where to find longer Rods 80mm/82mm?

Regards,
Miguel

With re-sleeving the max bore that I know is 79mm and without is 76mm, about the longer rods... stock rods measure 120mm and longer rods don´t give more displacement...only a stroker crank will give you that. For this big bore pistons or stroker crank you can search in every forged piston company and for the crank you can contact with an engineer to design it... I know the right person but I think it will be lot´s more money that you wants to spend.

Will the honda pistons fit onto g13b engine without any issues or do you have to do any mods for them, im currently in the process of doing an engine rebuild i want a high comp N/A 12-5-1 compression sounds good and d16 pistons are really cheap !

How about ofset grinding the crank to get a little extra stroke??? That shouldnt be too expensive but i dont know how much extra stroke you could get on one of these either. Just a thought

Hi,

Sorry to bring back old post.
I'm fitting Rover K-series Liners which has 87mm OD. You can have either 75mm or 80mm IDs.
If you have 80mm, it will be over 1500cc with stock stroke.

I will let you know our come.

Cheers
