I have a jimny with the m13a engine.

I have read a bit and it seems that the m13a, m16a and m18a are very similar.
As far as i can figgure out the m13a and m16a have the same block, head and bore with only a different stroke.

Will a m16a crank fit in a m13a block? Is the bearing sizes the same?
And there must probably be a differnce in conrod length to accomated the difference in stroke.

Is this conversion from 1.3 to 1.6 as simple as it sounds? Or is there other factors that i would have to take into account? Is it as simple as changing crank and conrods and a remap to increase the capacity?

What about pistons, bearings, compression ratio, oil seals etc.?

I would greatly appreciate any help or info.

Thanks.
