anyone who has done a j18/20/23 into a swift
any mix and match between the swift sedan / esteem 1.8 that'll work or are they all custom?

I'm doing a j20 into a samurai, and they are completely different animals entirely. My motor mounts are going to be custom. I do have the Aerio front motor mount still, I can't use it, don't need it. I'm interested in finding out if the j18 flywheel will work with a 1.6 clutch and bellhousing. Otherwise I am going to need a custom flywheel for my 2.0, since I'm using the 1.6 bellhousing.

no mix and match for the swift. the J series was never meant to fit in there, so you're on your own for the mounts. If you search you'll find a thread of a J swapped swift, it says that if you use the 1.6L swift stuff, you can use a lot of stock parts but you need to cut and box the right side frame rail to fit the engine.
