I noticed a few differences but cant remeber them all when i was looking for mine. The tracker and sidekicks all had g16* on them while the esteem blocks had a blank there. The water pipes are different from the fwd and rwd.oil pans were also different. As far as the blocks are conserned i have both g16 a blocks one was 8v and other sohc 16valve. From what i have seen on both the cranks are the same rods are the same puny little twigs, pistons are different if i remember right the fwd and the 16v rwd all had higher compression while the 8v was low. Either way if you put a g13b dohc head on one it will drop the compression. The blocks appear to be the same as far as diminshions. On stock crank these motors can still be rev'ed 8k and can handle over 200whp even though some claim no. but it must be balanced well............... they are 92mm stroke with a 75mm bore. Honda pistons are a bolt in but have a higher compression hight. All of the blocks should be the same though and i havent read anything over all the research i did for my motor. Thanks Stephen.

and if there are any other questions i will try to answer them from the experience i have with mine.

90mm stroke not 92mm & arp rod bolts make the difference, H-beam conrods even better
