Hey guys, i purchahed a swift gt 93 not to long ago, it have 137 km on it.
I am looking for a upgrade mod.
I just got in the carb section, and i read you could acheive a 30+ hp by a simple setup.

i'd like to know the advantages of a quad carubured swift gti over a n/a

More precicely :

Fuel economy
Instalation ( over going the turbo route )
Price ( for a nice set-up )
Number of hours spent into that project
Does it worth it if you want the mighty g13b to put up more power
( i am looking to get a 14 sec car, so i guess 170 hp can get me that )
( nos is a possibility )

Anyway, all the where-about of a nicely setup carb gti
I dont want to get into big details, just general info is apreciated.

Thanks

yea, i did, but i'd like to know more of the differance there is betwen the 2 setup.
I know the carb doesn't need a ecu
Apart from that, it seems to be an easy way to get more hp out of your
g13b.

i'd like to get facts.

Also, do you guys know if jess shop could do that ?
Cause he's only few hours drive away

thanks

You will not gain a genuine 30hp by carbs alone. If you were reading my previous post, that was achieved with cams, cam gears, exhaust and intake mods as well.

As an aside, the tuner I use has just built an n/a GTi engine, running flatslides, that produced a wonderful 194hp on an engine dyno. However, that engine had pretty much every mod under the sun.

You can see pics in my gallery on here and I posted up pretty much everything about the setup in one or two threads.
