hey, well i'm in a bit of a situation. i stripped the threads on the little rod that comes up through the air filter box. i'm not sure if my car is the same as all your guys' cuz mine is a 99 and it's supposed to be fi....but it's not. i need to know what part number that thing is. it'll be ok for a little bit cuz i got it ghetto rigged, but i don't want to test my luck for too long. i hope i've been discriptive enough, i don't know all the terms i should. if i had a camera i would share a pic, but no. thanx for the help

it's the little rod that you put a bolt and washer on to keep the box down....

If you can't find what you want.....is the rod to small to drill through and pin using something like a bodyclip that holds on a shell for a model car.....

can you run a die down the rod and fix the threads? I'm sure that you could pick one up at the wreckers pretty cheap.
