Have done a search on here and redlinegti but want some direct info, so as title says, pros and cons of quad throttle body setup on a GTI.

Approximate price of install and good places to get it done, possible complications, approximate power gain on stock GTI, how about power gain on modded GTI?

I hear they are pretty loud due to the induction noises, is this at WOT or at crusing rpms as well? Can you get such a setup engineered, e.g. passed emmision and noise standards?

Do you really need a new computer to tune it and run this setup properly or could you get by with an aftermarket chip such as Gandis group A running with stock ECU?

Thank you all for any inputs.

i believe that u need an aftermarket ecu module to set it up. this is why i went for cbr 1100 quad carbs. jus as much power i believe but no extra ecu t tune. although with throttle bodies theres more play with tuning etc. not 100% on that tho. im sure oz midnight will know. i know he went for quad carbs 2. i had a ported head, cams fitted, the new carbs and fuellin which set my back a touch over 1000pounds.
