Hey all,

I am planning to put 00-01 Mikuni R1 carbs to my swift.. just wanted to know whether it would suffice for the engine specs am running..

Am running a ported, polished head with high lift camshafts. Also running a G16B block with 77mm pistons.. Guess thats bout it.. The engine generates insane vacuum.. so just wanted to know if these carbs will work fine..

Thanks a lot

Hi,

Air volume wise, I'm sure it will be fine.
R1 has 4x40mm are and you can compare to what you have.
I think you might need to drill jet bigger to get more fuel.

Cheers
