hey guys could you give me an opinion on a carb i might buy for my 1996 swift sedan 1,6 (carbureted), here's the link to the specs

Hmmm - the 1.6s that we had were TBI not carburetted, so if yours had a carb, I'd have to say, I'm not familiar with that model.

I'd guess that it would have been something along the lines of the dual barrel carburettor that my 1.3 has, with a vacuum operated secondary - the carb you show is a very nice, twin choke downdraught model, which is most likely not going to bolt on to your existing manifold.

Finally - I take it you're aware that Dell'Orto is no longer in the business of manufacturing carburettors - you might want to look at something that is in current production - perhaps a Weber 32/36 or something similar.

Hi,

You will have a problem locating manifold for it.
I think it will be better off buying 40 DCOE webers and buy inlet manifold for Swift.
In UK ebay, there is one guy selling manifold for weber.

Down draught manifold will be difficult to get hold of I think, especially after market ones.
