So, being a broke mofo, and doing a GTi carb swap, old school dizzys aren't common in the USA.
Long story short, you can use an old school G10 distributor, and the trigger wheel, cap, and rotor from a Samurai.

You have to take both dizzy's apart, noting which way the trigger wheel is mounted on the shaft in relation to the the notch where the rotor mounts, heat it up red hot, pull it off, and replace the three cylinder one with the four cylinder one.

THEN, you have to make custom mounts for the spring clips that hold the cap to the base, then drill and tap the distributor to hold your new brackets, being careful not to have the screws to long so they don't hit the advance mechanism, using loctite in the process. The three cylinder one is originally a screw on cap. Other than that, the cap and rotor fit on like it was made for that distributor.

Hey, why do you think I chose crazyman as a username?
