Holy Dead post Dattman

The inner cv spline is the same on all mk1,2,3 as far as I know, the gti had 1mm thicker shafts and bigger outer CVs than it's sohc version of the same era, still not sure why you don't use a mk2 lsd? modding the case is really minor.

Just make sure they don't make you a viscous LSD

Thanks again, so is the Cvs the CV joints?

After watching a youtube video of someone putting a MK2 diff in a MK1 trans it seems a lot less complicated than I thought. The hungarian company sent me the steps required to put a MK2 diff in and it sounded much more complicated. The cuscos LSD is a clutch type which seems perfect for our auto crossing.

Thanks again, I've found a few other dead post to revive. Figuring others may also have the same noob questions like me.

I ordered the new MK1 Torsen from Balli.
We will see what it has to offer for my
125 WHP T3 beastie.
If I can accelerate in a straight line without
violently whipping into other lanes I'll be very
happy, any handling improvements will be a bonus!
