What is the transmission out of? Make? model?
How many forward gears?
Final drive ratio of worm and ring gear?
I assume you will be using a geo flywheel, and pressure plate?
I also assume that you will need geo axles with other car CV joints at the new trans?
Clutch cable or hydrolic clutch?
Will a shifter have to be fabricated? I assume yes?
Will you be using a geo driver side mount with an adaptor plate?

I am tired of an automatic car. I can not seem to find a geo trans with less then 200,000 on it. This worries me as to gear fatigue.

you can just get a used trans and install a transmission repair kit, as long as the gear teeth are okay (usually are) it will make the transmission 'as new'

You have to have a transmission first. This is a project for my automatic car to convert it to a standard.
