After doing a 5speed conversion, I have a speedometer that is reading to low.
The gear is a white with 17 teeth, and a gear diameter of 0.500"
Does anyone have a gear with less teeth that is 0.5" in diameter?
What other options do I have to get the speedometer to read correctly?

13" tires 155/80-13
A 16 tooth gear brings the speedometer back to right on.

it'S weird,,, the white speedo gear that i have was for 13" tires,
try the brown from a GT
but i don't know if you need to change the other gear in the tranny... you can check if so or if not, with the part numbers!?!

Did they ever make a 15 tooth gear for the 5 speed transmissions?
With the choice of 155/80-13" tires available getting harder to find, I was thinking of going to
175/70-13". THere is a much wider selection of tires available in this size.
155/80-13 is 21.7" diameter.
175/70-13 is 22.7" diameter.
A 15 tooth speedo gear should bring the speedometer closer to being accurate.
