Hey guys. I think i might have a bit of a problem with my 1.0 swift. It was an auto trans but i bought another swift for parts with a 1.3 and manual trans. But it appears that it wasnt a factory manual swift. So now i dont know what tranny do i have, cuz i went to buy a new clutch and the auto parts guy told me that my clutch disc looked a lot from an older 3 cyl. The clutch is smaller compared to the one they gave me for a 94 1.0 swift. And my 1.0 seems to have very low ratio because 5th gear seems endless. Any help?

The 3cyl clutch is 6.75 inches and the 4 cyl is 7.5 inches. The 89-94 Swift tranny was 3.52 ratio which is the highest geared tranny and came on the US sold Swifts.

Thanks, is it good? Or i should look for something like a 3.79? I have been reading about ratios and some say that 3 cyl didnt came with 3.52, some say 3.52 its bad for 3 cyl with 13" tires. Any help?

I'd say 4:10 is the ratio you want. 4:39 works well with 13" tires and g10. I think 3:52 or 3:79
Will be disappointing with g10, basically 5th gear will be useless as you will be so deep in the throttle to even hold highway speed.
