Hello all.

Thanks for taking the time and reading this. TO start off with, i just bought this car i drove it for 742 miles and then i took a shit, so im going to go ahead and rebuild the engine. my reason of writing is these few questions.

1. witch of the 4 or 5 engines made for these cars are best all around? [Best performance with out going turbo]

2. should i keep my block and swap heads and internals or new engine all together?

I would just like to know if its worth it.

you are looking for an 89-94 1.3L twin cam suzuki swift gt engine, 100hp stock and has loads of room for improvement, however are becoming very scarce lately. I assume your 95 is a 1.3 SOHC, this is probably the most common engine and has very little to offer. If you cant find a gt engine, you can go for the updated 1.3 SOHC which was available in all swifts between 98-01, this is a 16 valve distributorless engine that can be woken up with a cam, cold air induction and a nice exhaust. speak with the mod suprf1y about this one, he also has a write up in the mk4/mk5 section, look around a little.

Also if you do the DOHC swap your gonna need all the GT wiring or go to megasquirt and build your own system

"I also love the 7500 rpm scream of a DOHC" 2X 1989 Swift GTi's a 92 and Jr's new 93 GT

Keep your eye on the boost guage!
And I love this one!
