Hey Guys

I have converted my race car to a high compression, N/A on CBR ITBs and bored to 76mm. Some pic of the N/A conversion can be seen here ->http://flic.kr/s/aHsjuPyyXv.

I have entered the engine specs into Dyno2003 software just to see what it generates. It yields 180HP at 7500rpm  See the attached give me your feedback.

The haltech ecu software is tuned via VE and is presently at 95% w/ ~12.6AFR at 7,500rpm

The specs are:
- Full race cyl head w/ 30mm intake & 27 mm exhaust valvel
- Tighe Cam 793C [10.35mm lift w/ 258* @ .050 (290 advertised)]
- Honda CBR929 ITBs
- Injector Dynamic 715cc Injectors
- JE 13:1 forged pistons
- Pauter Rods
- Lightened, Balanced & Polished crankshaft
- machined & steel plated reinfored mains
- suzukird 4-1 exhaust header w/ side pipe
- suzukird Aluminum flywheel
- suzukird straight cut dog box w/ 49.2 FD
- Haltech PS2000 ecu
- Hatachi Audi A4 Ignition coil on plugs
- J&S 4ch DIS Safeguard

Yes the car is running, but I don't have any clips as yet. Will post some as soon as I get.

I am more concerned about the suggested HP figure. Does it seem realistic or close to realistic? Unfortunately, I don't have access to a working dyno here in Barbados.

180 hp is possible but I would expect it to be at 9000-9500rpm, Tony Marsh, a well known and reputable engine builder here in NZ only managed a true 175 hp on his engine dyno and that was dry sumped and running close to 10k rpm, remember a 1299cc hayabusa makes 175bhp at 9700rpm.

Just looked at the calculated dyno chart, I would expect to see a much peaker hp graph, nice looking crank btw 8) , would gain a couple of extra hp I would think.

Oh wow, I was waiting for you to post up your full build in a thread Colin. Imma gonna be all over this thread like sugar on candy!

I absolutely love your crankshaft assembly. Is there anyone across in BIM that does the knife-edge and balancing of the crank?

There is nothing standard in the motor. The valve train is lightened with upgraded valve springs. Actually, it has the suzukird Full Race Titanium & Speciall Alloy Valve Train Kit

I wish - lol ... nonetheless, contrary to popular belief... reliability and performance doesn't come cheap. 8)

I took part in a local 1/8mile drag meet yesterday (28th May) and my best time thus far is 9.027sec using 15x7.5 yokohama ADVAN AD06 tires. I am confident that with better tires and suspension tweeks the car can do an 8.800 - 8.600 1/8mile run. My reaction time is also off at 0.249 as this is the first time using the lights. 0-60 2.151. Hopefully there should be a video of the runs soon.

Car can be seen at 1:25 & 2:41 :)

The other white swift at 2:51 & 3:23 was the underdog of the day continuously beating on the turbocharged honda :D

What’s that in the pic just to the right side of the upper rad. hose, that’s sitting where the battery normally would?

Aah....if I had to guess, I would have said a Water/Meth injection pump. Not a far away guess I suppose.
