OK so I'm obviously new here and also a new owner of a 1995 Geo Metro 3/5. My goal for this car is to use it as dd but also compete in local rally cross and maybe a couple of autocross events (I don't expect to be super competitive) and maybe even do a little homemade turbo job eventually. As of now, it's your pretty basic run of the mill Geo with some transmission problems. I have a freshly rebuilt 4.39 transmission coming from Geo Glenn over @ the but I'm gonna do a clutch pressure plate and throw out bearing job while I've got the transmission out... what I'm looking for is a clutch that will lock up hard and not slip and also last awhile. Not sure if there is a "racing" clutch available but that is basically what I'm looking for. So what would you guys recommend or what would you say to avoid? Thanks in advance for any advice you may be able to give!

I can recommend the Daiken Exedy heavy duty clutch, standard organic clutch plate with a heavy duty clutch cover for a bit more clamping force.

Also get a flywheel from a 1.3 and a clutch for the 1.3
A little bigger
