We all know the factory injectors are crap, I'm just wondering if anyone on here has found a suitable replacement that pretty much swaps in with little hassle

Why are the factory ones crap? Not arguing, just curious, I have heard this before but never really had many problems with them. A reputable member told me they were crap as well, but never clarified why.

My experience is they are prone to failure/leaking and servicing them does little to help.

From what I recall, they require a lot of amperage to cycle, are really hard on injector drivers, and are quite prone to leakage and failure. I used to know a good stock replacement, but my memory ain't what it used to be.

specific model Honda and/or engine code?

I'm paying attention to this thread because I've also had a failure, but, maybe more importantly, I believe injector design has improved substantially since the 90's with respect to atomization and spray pattern.

I'd like to find something from a vaguely recent model car that is the right size and doesn't require me to hack the wiring connectors--as long as they are sufficient to at least match the OEM set I can tune for whatever capacity they happen to be.
