I got the manual for the SOHC 8 Valve carb 1.3 and it's got a good carb diagram in it, I can scan it in if you want me too.

I have a repair manual that includes a section for the carbed 3 cylinder. What info do you want scanned?

I've made the scans, but the image dimensions are currently too large to upload. I'd email them, but Yahoo is really restrictive about large attachments.

If you are looking for a repair article on the Aisin carburetor, this is fairly decent:

and here is an even better schematic:

For the USA Hitachi carburetor, this manual from 1985 is good enough.

The pin outs for the ECM are not good for the 87-88 models. You will need to test the microswitches (Idle and WOT) at the carb.

Once you get the cars dialed-in (compression, leaks, bearings, alignment, brakes) swap in new rubber and glass, you've got something which should last for years!

Was the Aisin Carb specific to all 3-cyl. cars sold in Canada and the Hitachi Carb to the U.S.?

If so, did this carry across all of the '85 - '88 models (specifically the Sprint)?
