Most springmakers/suppliers wil be able to either make or supply a spring for your car...

King Springs here in Australia (sorry no contact details for you but a search would turn some up) have gear available for SA GTi's...

spax also makes lowering springs, not sure if anyone sells their stuff in the US, highly progressive springs.
part# SO37006 35mm drop

mk2-3 cars use part# SO37005 40mm drop

I have a set of brand new springs that lower by 35mm. They are exactly the same as the red resin coated ones in the above picture. They are for the mk1 swift. I am willing to post international if you make me a reasonable offer. :)

I found on one site that part. nr. 140-2000 is for MK2 so I assume that they aren't compatible or they are..?

No they don't fit your car. They fit the car that is in the MTS reply. The dates are normally listed as 1986 ~ 1988 - the model changed late in 1988 for the 1989 model year.

I see the springs in front or rear pairs on ebay from time to time. You have to watch for them. Unlikely to see more than 40mm drop ebay spring these days. To drop more than 40mm, you would have to use short shocks or coilovers on the front and short shocks on the rear.

no short shoks on the rear but at the front 2mm shorter is a must do when 60mm springs are mountet!

you can olso buy some 40mm springs and press it downt to 60mm, but im no fan from this work^^

there is a firm called http://www.kw-suspensions.eu/int/ ant they have full adjustible threaded suspension oder coil-over kit but the price is very hot ;) 3500$$$ with out shipping... but you can tell the what you want and they let your wishes come true haha

by

EDIT: i ment of corse 20mm shorter at the front shock

The Apex springs (part# 140-1000) are listed for the following models: GL, GLX, GXi, GTi chassis: AA33 / 43 / 53.

I have an 86 Suzuki Swift GS with an AA51 chassis. The rear springs are leaf springs. Will the Apex springs fit my car?

If not, perhaps someone know of some other springs that will fit my car?

Thanks!
